Throwing at the Wheel--All Levels

Instructor: Elizabeth Kendall

This 8-week class will provide customized instruction for the skill level of each student. Beginning students new to clay will focus on simple bowl forms to learn the essential steps in the throwing process. Through discussion, demonstration and hands-on experience we will explore how the material moves and how to control it. Beginning II students will focus on vertical forms including vases with narrow necks. Personal style and glaze application solutions will also be explored. More advanced students will work with the instructor on personal projects. Class size: Min-4, Max-6.
