Classes
Clay on the Bay is a friendly, supportive, and educational environment in which to be a creative ceramicist. Join us and share your skills and ideas!
Our $60/month membership includes 24/7 studio access; use of wheels, tools, work tables; and some personal storage for your own tools and supplies. Membership is open to anyone who is able to navigate a clay studio without instruction.
Clay on the Bay members must also be either general or juried members of Arts Lab. For more information please send an email to info@artslab-sc.org.
Make it Mondays:
Open studio for members. On Monday nights from 4-8pm Clay on the Bay members informally gather to share tips and thoughts.
Bring A Friend:
For $15 any Clay member can bring a friend to Arts Lab to explore the creative potential of clay. If you are not a member and would like to explore our space please let us know and we will designate you a "friend"of the Lab for a two-hour guided experience.
Nonmember Firing Fee:
We are happy to fire work for non Clay on the Bay members at the following costs and requirements:
First you must join Arts Lab and pay the $60 annual membership fee.

$50 for full kiln
$13/shelf
Glaze (^6)
$75-full kiln
$20/shelf
We offer a variety of hand building and wheel classes at Arts Lab throughout the year.
